Join us for an engaging look into the work being undertaken by Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPoPS).
Formed in 2014, MIPoPS works to preserve audiovisual heritage in the Pacific Northwest. They assist heritage organizations like the Bainbridge History Museum with converting analog video recordings into digital formats and have worked with more than 35 local archives, museums, historical societies, libraries, and heritage institutions to digitize over 8,000 videotapes. Learn about the work that goes into digitizing the PNW and see digitized clips from our own collections.
Come and join us for snacks and libations. This program is FREE for members with a suggested $5 donation per person for non-members. Space is limited so RSVP today!
